AT HOME WITH... FANNY MOIZANT, VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE CO-FOUNDER
London
I moved here 5 years ago to develop Vestiaire Collective, the company I had co-created, in the UK.
I fell under the spell of this city: its energy, its positivity and its cosmopolitan population…
I need big city rhythm and I can’t imagine living in another place at the moment, aside from Asia.
Our home
We just moved in. I used to live in Charlotte Street, an amazing London center street with lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
Then I had a crush on this Camden house.
It immediately appeals to me with its yellow door, its wisteria, its light and patio. Now I’m living here since 6 months.
If I had to change a thing I would only add a floor.
My style
I really started to be interested in decoration the day I arrived in London.
I mix designed furniture with vintage item that I find in France, London or on the Internet. You can find my favorite address below.
For example, I unearth my Noguchi coffee table in south of France and my desk on Selency.
I also appreciate bringing back stuff from my trips: I found my carpet in Marrakech and the headdress above my desk is a memory of my journey in Brazil.
The room where I spend the most time
Our bright living room: I work, read, spend time in family with my two daughter there.
The kitchen is a central room, as I love cooking for my relatives.
What makes the difference
Unearthed pieces or the one brought back from a trip. In short, everything that tells a story makes the difference.
I love rooms with strong olfactory mood.
Artist at home
Soulages’s lithography or eaux-forte.
Or André Cervera, a south of France artist that my husband and I admire a lot.
My home fragrances
When I arrived in London I rediscover the fragrance of my grandmother fresh garden roses, a fragrance by Jo Malone. I am totally addicted to it.
My next purchase
A collection doll by Lanvin. I already bought one on Vestiaire Collective and I’d like to collect them.
I also would like to find a small vintage armchair; I wish I would find one covered by pink or yellow velvet.
My favorite pieces
The one that my grandparents gave me: the wood chest in my living room and the workshop table in the dining room.
My desires
Mirrors, furs for my armchair and plants!
Our week-end
My daughters’ activities, dinners with friends and walk around to discover new London places, punctuate them.
On Sundays we have our tradition: go to the market and cook for the week.
Un tout petit e-shop à la ravissante sélection de coussins, tapis ou encore paniers. Lisa fait même du sourcing et du conseil pour des demandes particulières.
