IN A FEW WORDS

Education

I always very clearly knew that my family life was my priority. The decisions and choices that I made took it into consideration and were obvious. I wanted a family harmony and to see my children growing up. So I am a very present mom and I follow closely their homeworks and activities. We also spend a lot of time together playing, discovering, reading or discussing. I realize that being able to accompany your children in their everyday life is today a real luxury.

I also have an "old school" side with a real politeness. I'm pretty strict even though I never shout.

 Passing down

I think about it all the time because unlike me my children live in a privileged environment. So even if they are very spoiled, I would like to teach them the value of things.

Curiosity is also essential. That's why we've been always traveling together and we're not a mini-club enthusiasts! Openness to the world is priority at home. My husband has a double culture that we have passed on to them from a very young age.

And of course I would love to share with them the passion we have for arts. That is why we take them as often as possible to museums and to see exhibitions. They do everything with us: we assume that if something interests us we will share it with our children. Obviously in a playful and adapted way, what today all the museums propose, through workshops or courses.

Workshops, courses and activities

The dances of the Éléphant Paname or the workshops in the museums, for example in Centre Pompidou or Musée du Quai Branly and the Louvre.

I am also a fan of "home" workshops: children love to make things with us!

 Our holidays

Abroad obviously. We love discovering and moving with children. It has always been like that. My daughter took an airplane when she was only 3 weeks old the first time!

We have no fixed scheme, we reinvent each time: it can be a house in Portugal in the countryside, or in Berlin at the Hotel.

I really like the blog of Petitepassport for ideas of places.

When they will be bigger I dream of a road trip across the US and Japan.

On the weekend we can be found...

Somewhere in Paris: the street markets, the 9th neighborhood, we love the city! We are lucky to live in the center, so we do everything on foot and the children follow.

We often take a lunch outside at Rose Bakery, MerciMaison Plisson and on Saturday evenings in a super pizzeria, Assaggio, rue du Temple. For children it's a party!

No-kids break allowed

Rather twice than one time! The last one: Iceland. The next in Brussels.

I often accompany my husband on his trip because I am lucky to have my mother always wanting to take care of her grandchildren!

Organizational Tips

I am very "To Do List"! The best way not to forget anything. And then I have to admit that I have a super system of help: my mom, my aunt ... the family is very precious with children. We also made the choice to have an au pair for 2 ½ years now and that changes everything, especially this allows much more improvisation. A dinner between friends at the last moment or a romantic dinner is never a problem.

Next family time

Warhol at the Museum of Modern Art and Picassomania at the Grand Palais.
