Our relationship

I learn things progressively and let Garance guide me. She taught me many things about my role as mom.

I am very “humble” about that and don’t assume that I already know everything. I observe a lot and act empirically.

My daughter also made me discover a lot about myself. She makes me stronger and helped me with many fears I used to have.

I like to consider Garance as a “person”. She has already a very independent character!

Passing down

I am very strict about politeness. She needs rituals and a stable rhythm so I try to get regular in our habits.

I would like her to feel well, blossomed. It requires a lot of self-confidence and discovering who she is. I would like to give her enough self-confidence so that she is never afraid of trying.

I also want to pass down the ability to happiness and fantasy. I think it can be learned to some point.

Holidays of your dreams

I would like to go back to Mazunte in Mexico, where an architect created small houses on the beach. A paradise for families!

And we also dream of a safari in Botswana three of us and of a big trip to Japan when Garance will be older.

Holidays for us is time to discover new things!

“No kids” break allowed

Rarely recently. We really want to share moments with her.

But for Christmas we went to l’Abbaye de Fonteveraud. A beautiful place in the Loire Valley.

My organizational tips

Every Sunday I make a huge vegetable gratin so that I don’t have to think of a menu from the beginning of the week!

And I prepare everything in the evening: clothes and breakfast.

Going out with the family

Your little happiness?

Girls dinners! Garance helps me to prepare the meal, we eat the same thing and we have a chocolate for dessert.

And our breakfast for three of us, it’s our ritual.
