My apartment

We live in the 16th neighborhood for six years. It took us a year to find our apartment but it was decided within a weekend. I love its size, the organization of children/parents space and the large living room. We wanted a large room in which we could have the family life and receive friends. And despite all the preconceptions, it is a very nice and easygoing neighborhood.

With a magic wand…

I would like to have an American kitchen type to get more friendly atmosphere. That is probably because cooking isn’t my biggest passion and when I have to do it, I don’t like being cut off from the rest of the apartment !

My style

I like minimalist and contemporary decoration. Black and white colors. I find the vintage very nice, but at others’ !

I buy the decoration elements mostly on the Internet, for example Bodie and Fou.

I also dream of beautiful furniture, like the Egg Chair by Eero Aarnio, a piece of art from VNH gallery in the Marais that I love. Or a photo by Ellen Von-Unwerth.

A memory from here

When I used to work at home, the time when my daughter was still a baby. Taking breaks to take care of here or just take few seconds to look at here or kiss here – it was a huge source of happiness to me. It was a wonderful time of bond between us.

Glasses for cocktails !

“Apéro” time is the moment we love, both with children and friends. We often receive guests. I chose this high table on purpose so that we can eat up and for its informal and friendly characteristics. Parties at our place can last forever, I love it.

My favorite room

My bedroom. I feel really great inside. I often work on my bed. And during the weekends, my real happiness is all about staying in bed for hours without any obligation to get up early, which is still a little bit complicated for me !

A particularity

There are neither mirrors nor pictures at home.

No special reasons for it (but conscious about it) – it’s just the way it is.

My favorite moments

Saturday evening when there are all four of us at home or when I am alone.

I also love to spend some time at home with my husband when children are on holidays.

All these good quality moments, really precious in our lives that goes permanently in a very fast way. The peace and harmony are what count the most to me above all.
