IN A FEW WORDS
Fashion has never been one of my major concerns and getting dressed has always taken me three minutes. Both of my daughters are the opposite of me on the matter and I really don’t know where it comes from! I buy clothes only from time to time but I pay attentions to beautiful materials and cuts. Sweaters are the only thing I really want to spend money for. I love twin-sets (those of Amin Kader) and the beautiful cashmere (Hermès, Hobbs).
I wear Gap jeans 360 days per year and the remaining 5 days I wear cigarette pants from Agnès B or Armani. If I have to get really dressed I go to Ventilo. I love their prints and their collections that tell stories more than trends.
In the evening, once I come back home, I have to change clothes. I love wearing interior outfits that I find at Vis à Vis or La paresse en Douce.
I use Vélib’ the whole day in Paris to go visit my three grandchildren, so I only wear flats. For me, heels are a real fashion taboo: I find that they make me look older, so I don’t even remember the last time I wore them! I love Tod’s for ballerinas and moccasins, Accessoires for boots. I also like sport shoes like those from Lanvin.
In jewelry, I’m rather minimalist and loyal. For years, I have worn my wedding ring, other rings, Pomellato stud earring and Jaeger watch. These ones are the only precious jewelry I own.
The bags are neither my obsession. I have the chance having one beautiful that was given as a birthday gift. However, I would rather fall for small leather goods. I love notebooks, purses – provided that they are small!
